After decades of original music written on guitar, the time has come to step into a new realm of artistry. Deer woman pulls from many influences including Dark Wave, Trip Hop, and Electric Powwow. Deer Woman is a protector of the innocent, the feminine, the Tierra. The music is meant to inspire movement into a new era, an Indigenous Future of action and compassion. Lios em chania. elias wolf (they/them) is a singer-songwriter, live-looper, and musical spellcaster crafting what they call “queer song alchemy for the revolution”—a molten blend of soaring melody, dissonant harmony, and lyric truth-telling that refuses to flinch. Writing with blood, breath, and devotion, elias weaves close, lush harmonies with lyrics forged in the raw ache of their own healing, transformation, and liberation. A performer for over 25 years, elias has appeared on storied stages including SFJAZZ Center, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Yoshi’s, both as a solo artist and with acclaimed vocal groups. A dynamic performer fluent in collective energy, elias is most alive when the line between artist and audience dissolves into something shared, intimate, and electric.
