A dream vacation of a lifetime quickly turns into a hijacking, endangering passengers and crew, on a boat journey down the Amazon River and into the Brazilian rainforest. Desperate criminals storm aboard, pursuing a lost fortune in the jungle. Marlin Darrah, a native Eugene filmmaker, is presenting his 85-min AMAZON QUEEN feature film on Sunday, September 22nd, at 7pm. This adventure-thriller has won more than 70 awards at festivals and events around the world, and has enjoyed more than 15 million views on Amazon Prime and other streamers. Darrah will be hosting the event with fellow producer Michael McConnell. There will be a brief introduction as well as Q&A by Darrah and McConnell following the screening.
