Atomic Bamboozle w/panel discussion

ATOMIC BAMBOOZLE follows anti-nuclear activists, tribal leaders, scientists, and attorneys as they draw lessons from the decades-long campaign to shut down the Trojan Nuclear Power plant in Oregon and extend those lessons into a new struggle to stop small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs) that are being aggressively promoted by the Department of Energy and nuclear industry in response to the climate crisis. A panel and Q and A follow the screening of the film. Speakers include: --Jan Haaken, director, professor emeritus of psychology at Portland State University, a clinical psychologist, and documentary filmmaker, including director of the Necessity series --Lloyd Marbet, executive director of Oregon Conservancy Foundation and longtime anti-nuclear activist, featured in the film --Cathy Sampson-Kruse (Waluulapum Band, Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation), retired social worker, associate producer of Necessity and featured in the film This event is sponsored by the Oregon Chapter of the Sierra Club and is a benefit event for the Oregon Conservancy Foundation.
