Be transported back to 1976 to see a concert with Joni Mitchell in this captivating one-woman show written and performed by Rainee Blake. Rainee Blake plays Joni Mitchell in an intimate concert experience of Mitchell's most memorable songs and the stories that inspired them. Be transported back to a night in 1976 after Joni returned home from a solo road trip across America and right before the release of her acclaimed album Hejira. Playing both guitar and dulcimer Rainee performs classic songs like Woodstock, Both Sides Now and A Case of You. Rainee Blake brings her one-woman show to Kilby Court after a multi-award winning run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Soho Playhouse (NYC) and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The evening's opening act, Chloe Kat, is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. Her music is lyrically dense with strong melodies and folk finger-stylings. She has recently dropped two singles from her upcoming Americana record that were produced/recorded by the band members/producer of Tears For Fears. She spent 8 years in Nashville studying music and touring across the US. She currently co-hosts a weekly songwriter showcase in Hollywood at Desert 5 Spot. Rainee Blake is an Australian-born singer-songwriter, actress and writer based in Los Angeles. She is best known for her role as Alannah on CMT’s Nashville. She has released music in her own right with influences ranging from 1970s soul, to folk and pop. Rainee has played at venues like The Opry, Adelaide Fringe and toured though Europe, Australia and the US.
