Poetry Night

The return of Poetry Night is coming for one night only at Art House! I am so excited to bring this event back to Eugene. I created this show to give a platform to local poets and writers needing a space to test out new material or to practice reading their work in front of a welcoming audience. Poetry Night first began at Spectrum Queer Bar, which recently closed in August 2024. For a while it has been difficult finding another venue to host this event. Now that we have space, let us enjoy the warmth of listening to live poetry. Let us revisit the bonds we formed in that space of creativity. For newcomers to Poetry Night, whether you are reading or just listening, come be inspired by the grace and the love that only poetry creates.
