Tumor Humor: Live Comedy with Rudy Tyburczy
Tumor Humor is a stand-up comedy show from Eugene comedian Rudy Tyburczy about health, survival, and the strange places life can take you. After experiencing a seizure, two heart procedures for an irregular heartbeat, and brain surgery to remove a tumor, Rudy began turning the experience into comedy - because sometimes the only reasonable response to life’s most surreal moments is laughter. Blending stand-up, storytelling, and dark humor, Tumor Humor explores hospitals, diagnoses, aging, anxiety, and the odd realization that life keeps going even when things get weird. Rudy has performed stand-up comedy for over 15 years in eight countries and hosts the podcast Jokes and the Gym, where comedy and health intersect. The evening will also feature an opening set by comedian/dentist Bert Walpack.
